Hi, I understand the sentiment, but development was discontinued in 2019 largely because of financial reasons. Nobody wants to talk about money but at some point you’ve grown up and you need to bring food on the table. Anime DBs / community sites aren’t the greatest money makers, so I had to pivot.

I still keep the site running and pay for the site’s server costs. After moving to a different data center the server costs went down significantly and it’s quite easy to sustain it now. However there is not enough money to support further development.

I hope it answers your question, though I realize that’s likely an unsatisfying reply.

Any other projects you are working on? I am a big fan of this website and am also a computer science student. I would be very interested in working with you on something.

Public projects I’m working on are listed on my website. There is a new programming language I’m developing right now, but working on it requires quite a bit of knowledge about compiler architectures.
