Shirin Bakhtiar
A chaperon and adviser to Marina Ismail at the Azadistan Royal Palace. She has great political knowledge but cannot take part in the Azadistan government in an official capacity because women are prohibited from being involved. Consequently, her words and behavior have a bite to them.
She parted ways with Marina and jumped out into the world from Azadistan. She is a member of the anti-government movement known as “Kataron”. She appears to be the second-in-command of Klaus Grad, one of Kataron's divisional commanders, and acts as Marina's bodyguard when the A-Laws force Kataron's forces stationed in the middle-east to flee.
Following the collapse of the A-Laws, Shirin has rejoined Marina as her chief political adviser in Azadistan.
