Tree spirits, whose appearance is a sign of a healthy forest. They are portrayed as small, white humanoids with large, rattling heads and mask-like features. They appear to protect the forest, but also lead Ashitaka out of the forest of the Forest Spirit with two wounded Irontown workers.
