Eugene Alexandre de Volkan
Eugene Vorkan is the the first candidate revealed to Kajika. He first appears in episode 2. Kajika is enamored by him, because he resembles her deceased friend Mustafa who was a white Leopard.
Kajika tries to convince Eugene that he may be her Mustafa incarnate. Eugene comes across arrogant, rude, and quite honestly a loner. Li Ren does not take well to him and refuses to allow Kajika to take part with him (we see Li Ren being somewhat jealous). Kajika disobeys Li Ren and continues to see him. It is then that Kajika learns that Eugene has been related to the incidents of three women committing suicide, because they were obsessively in love with him. Kajika tries to understand Eugene. In episode 3-4 Kajika still keeps making connections with Eugene. It is then in episode 4 that dark past of Eugene’s is revealed. Eugene seems to develop feelings for Kajika throughtout the episodes 2-4. Eugene seems to be annoyed yet drawn to Kajika. He does not share her beliefs on incarnation and that he is Mustafa. He very handsome, and comes from the Vorkan clan. He is said to resemble his mother the most. Eugene does not seem to care about anything, and that he only looks out for himself. His attitude soon changes as his involvement with Kajika grows.
He will eventually know Kajika’s identity, along with Kajika, by Najayra’s mother through a certain escape plan in Laginei castle.
