Goshinki

Naraku’s third detachment. Goshinki has the ability to sense the thoughts of others, which enables him to outmaneuver Inuyasha and break Tessaiga by biting it; however, breaking Tessaiga caused Inuyasha to transform into his berserk youkai state, after which Goshinki could no longer read his thoughts, and Inuyasha killed him. Sesshoumaru, realizing that Goshiki had broken Tessaiga, took his fangs and had the sword Tokijin made from them; Tokijin, filled with Goshinki’s malice, is too powerful and malevolent for anyone but Sesshoumaru to handle. (“Goshinki” means “Mind Reading Devil.”)
