The story begins in a fantastic world called Magi. Merlin, a powerful wizard who has saved his world from calamity many times, takes in a baby he adopts and calls Shin. The baby is, in fact, the reincarnation of a man from our world. Merlin raises Shin, separated from the rest of society, and teaches him the ways of magic. It was only when Shin reached the age of 15 and began his journey that Merlin remembered that he had forgotten to teach Shin the common sense and customs of this world. Thus, to socialize him and make him discover how society works, Merlin sent Shin to enroll in the Magic Academy of the capital of the Kingdom of Alsheid. However, little by little, the beginnings of the war were to affect Shin and his comrades.
