The superintendent of the Yokohama Police Department. Art is generally calm with a kind demeanor and possesses a strong sense of justice. He is old friends with Nice and Honey. Despite not being a Minimum Holder, he is a graduate from the Facultas Academy from which he assisted his late younger brother. He also likes sweets.
In the case to arrest Moral, Art becomes conflicted due to his inability to produce a Minimum as well as the differences between him and Nice.
In episode 7, Art is invited by Moral to join his cause in exchange of a Minimum as well as becoming Nice’s equal, but he rejects him and restated himself as Nice’s friend and protector. Provoked by Art’s decision, Moral stabbed and shot him several times beside his brother’s grave.
In the last episode he points his gun at Nice, the screen goes black and then the gun fires.
In the second season he becomes the antagonist and is stealing minimum holder’s minimums.
He has a regenerative minimum, which explains how he survived after Moral “killed” him.
