Kara
Wife to Kumara-ten and Shashi’s older sister. She is the complete opposite of Shashi though. Kara is kind and gentle, and loved her life the way it was. When Shashi and Kara were selected to be mikos for Ashura-ou, Kara was already oversatisfied with that position (unlike Shashi who wanted more than that).
Her husband Kumara-ten planned to use Ashura-ou’s sword Shura-to to kill Taishaku-ten, who has demolished his clan in Holy War. Kara made up a lie that in order to awaken the Shura-to it would need Ashura’s blood during the lunar eclipse. She did that only because she loved him and wanted him to stay with her instead of seeing him going away taking revenge on Taishaku-ten. She actually died during the revolt and was resurrected by Ashura-ou, but her life was maintained by the fragment of Shura-to. Once Shura-to awakens she would die once again.
