He passed the stamina test set by Tatsumi and played on Team Tatsumi. He was even given and opportunity to start, along with Kobayashi, when Kuroda and Sugie were benched and suspended for not participating in Tatsumi’s soccer-tennis game. However, he failed to capitalise on his opportunity and were benched following the return of Kuroda and Sugie into the fold.
