Sora gets accepted into a mage school in Tokyo, which leads her to meet a strange boy, Midorikawa Gouta, who has problems using his magic. Sora, who is an advanced mage, falls in love with the boy, and she helps him out later.
As Kouta and Sora fall in love in the series, it doesn’t take too long before Sora becomes depressed; not being her usual self, something Kouta notices. Later on the truth is revealed: Sora has an “increased heart rate disease”, the same disease that killed her father.
She dies in the arms of her mother after finally graduating. Several years later, Kouta visits her grave before setting off to continue his surfing career.
