K
K is a monk, living independently while seeking spiritual advancement. He was sent to college to become a medical student but used the money to study religion instead, thus infuriating his parents. Since then he has decided to live alone without relying on help from anyone. He later begins staying with his friend Sensei, who invited K to come live with him.
K later falls in love with Ojou-san, the daughter of the woman who he and Sensei are living under. He then commits suicide shortly after learning of Sensei and Ojou-san’s engagement.
