Rei Otohata
Rei is a student at Meisho Number 1 High School. He is also known as “#1”, due to the fact that he was featured in a magazine as being the coolest and most handsome teenage guy in the area. He is good friends with Yuya. He has a cold and detached demeanour, but seems to act warmly towards Aya and is constantly annoyed by Ran. He has trouble expressing his feelings towards others (especially Aya).
He started dating Aya out of pity and because Ran asked him to go out with her, when he actually likes Ran. Near the end his feelings for Ran disappear and now is in love with Aya.
