Shirley
Noritaka’s assistant, who admires his work and looks forward to succeeding him.
She soon realizes that she cannot succeed Noritaka after her own flower withers. Instead, she places her faith in a young Kiritsugu. She drinks Noritaka’s potion to prove its validity, but it fails and turns her into a bloodthirsty Dead Apostle. Kiritsugu refuses to kill her after she turns and she inevitably infects her entire hometown. This event is what initially causes Kiritsugu to believe that it is right to sacrifice the few for the survival of the majority.
