A well mannered young woman from Hiroshima.
She loves drawing and her family.
After being captured by a “monster” she marries Shuusaku, and they live together with his family.
After an air raid on their way back from visiting the hospital, Suzu and Harumi are caught in an enemy explosion. It kills Harumi and wounds Suzu, who loses her right hand.
