Tora
An ancient golden yokai who was released when Ushio pulled off the Beast Spear. Prior to being pin in the basement of Ushio’s temple, he was known as Nagatobimaru, famously feared among the yokai community for his sheer strength and powers of lightning. Being trapped in the basement for 500 years, he has great curiosity over modern lifestyle and gadgets. His favorite food is hamburgers, which Mayuko always provides when they meet. In the final battle with Hakumen, he remembers his ancient relationship with the super yokai before he became a yokai.
Tora is an Azafuse, a human who wielded the Beast Spear and, after having their soul consumed, was transformed into a yokai. As a human he was also know as a fierce warrior from India named Shagaksha who at the peak of his despair gave a birth to Hakumen no Mono physical form as well as was turned immortal. Understanding how he was used by this beast to collect the hate for it as vessel all these years, he vowed to destroy it by any means necessary
He let a turning Beast Spear user to hit him after his memory returned, and because he has the same body as Hakumen, Hakumen couldn’t smell the Beast Spear impaled in Tora’s body.
