Akos
The first human Casshern meets in episode three. He has some kind of abiding illness (possibly tuberculosis) and requires doses of medication to breathe. He seems generally carefree and nonchalant, despite the harsh and grim circumstances that he, and the world around him, are in.
The last thing he said to Casshern was that he is not an “Angel of Death” after all, because he did not die traveling with him. Seconds later, Akos succumbs to his prolonged illness and dies.
