Mimi Rossi

Mimi is the mother of Marchelo Rossi. She is also the mother-in-law of Edda and grandmother of Anzelmo. One day, Marchelo and his family were visited in their house by Mimi. During her visit, Mimi brought a precious gift: her red bonnet hat. She was supposed to give the red hat to Anzelmo, but her grandson rejected it. Instead, the little old lady gave the red bonnet hat to Romeo, who did not hesitate to accept the gift. The red bonnet hat, which was knitted by Mimi herself, was originally worn by Marchelo. When Marchelo was still a child, he wanted to become a sailor. He told his mother that when he gets old and become a sailor, he’ll keep on wearing the red bonnet hat. In the end, Marchelo threw the red hat out before he grew old. He even failed to become a sailor. Mimi retrieved the red bonnet hat and worn it for several years.
