Seventeen years ago, Takafumi's uncle fell into a coma, but now he's back like a man risen from his grave. Soon, Takafumi discovers two bizarre things: His uncle treasures video games above all else, and, while comatose, he was actually transported to another world as some heroic guardian! Now, not only does Takafumi have to room with an uncle who is literally magical, he also has to catch the guy up on two decades of history—smartphones, high-speed internet, modern anime tropes…and the traumatic outcome of the '90s console war!
So, Isekai Ojisan is now delayed again to unknown date and will suspend release at episode 8. The reason of the delay is the same as episode 5.

Edit 2022-10-21, they have announced the release of ep 8 for the 25 November, however the date is subject to changes.
Episode 5 have been delayed due to covid reasons again. Episodes should normally start to air again in two week.

Yes, I think that all the broken “cliché” of a isekai made in the anime are very interesting since it makes you want to know these stories even more. It’s rare that anime takes this kind of approach so it’s a change from the isekai I’ve already seen (even if the anime itself is not really an isekai but more of a comedy about isekai)

I have never seen an anime like this before, the art style is much different than I’m use to. (which I don’t mind) and the story is very unique. I like it so far, I’m halfway through ep 2 while writing this.

Netflix delayed all the subs ones to September 7 😕The Japanese one have been released. Netflix is sadly not reliable a lot the time when it come to anime’s release. You will often have more chances to find translated one by “fan” before Netflix itself which is honestly sad. However, keep in mind that watching animes on allowed website such as Netflix or crunchy-roll will help the anime
