Devil Survivor 2 The Animation

Notes:

Started this after getting to day 4 on main game. Going to compare both and value according to how much I enjoyed + adaptation quality.
Episode 2 - confused as to how fast and low details it gives. Also no Joe yet.
Episode 3 - changed Osaka introduction in order to not make it longer. I prefer this part story-wise, as it would be more "natural". Surprised by the end of the chapter.
Episode 4 - while the fight against [SPOILER] Merak took the whole episode, it's a nice point of view. Instead of the joy of enjoying the game, we get how the main character and the group feels like, after being sent to fight an ENORMOUS alien creature. Also Alcor scene just hitted right perfectly, imo the best part of the series for now.
Episode 5 - spoilers ahead, again. Loved the fact that even Hibiki now has a Death Face. Yamato's arc was great, imo. Not only his childhood (where you can see how "distant" he is to the rest of the humans, to the point of not taking takoyakis), but also the last scene where he talks to Alcor is just great. Houtsuin Yamato, the one who seems the coldest person on Earth, gets a Death Face video, even if he denies the friendships he has.
Episode 6 - 50/50. Septentrion fight was kinda meh and quick. What only brought my attention to this episode was the last parts, where Yamato's plan gets revealed.
Episode 7 - yes, the fan-service episode, mostly. I find it interesting how my favorite parts of each episode are mostly at the end of it, but this one, so far, deals the best with that scene. Still I'm confused about Keita? Like yes, Hinako I get it, but Keita seems like a plot hole, unless he really didn't recover and is just Hibiki thinking the wrong way.
Episode 9 - Alioth fight was a big bs. I know, it wasn't that much great in the game (knowing how the Septentrione is almost impossible to reach), but comparing to previous fights... it felt short. Also idk why I was expecting Yamato's route. Either his or Alcor's one.
Episode 10 - My PoV in a nutshell: fuck you, Io. You too, Yamato.
Episode 11 - I have depression now. All of the death scenes made me feel bad, even with one character I didn't even liked and that didn't show that much "fear". However, wtf with both Yamato and Hibiki. Flying is kinda... weird.
