Notes:
What does this film makes perfect that the rest of the Persona anime doesn't? Leaving aside the plot (which, truly, is the same as the videogame, except some extra scenes), Makoto Yuki feels like a character. Manga showed him as an antisocial, timid and shy guy, while here he's just an emo who doesn't care for anything nor everyone. As the movie keeps on rolling, character development is being showed. For example, Fuuka's rescue arc, which in the main game seems a bit meaningless, here takes the friend's character to make Makoto think again on his actions. Moving onto art, it's just amazing. There seems effort has been made, while Persona 5 The Animation... better not talk about that. Colors are vibrant, and the effects are just on point. While this may not be the best thing ever made, it has a great potential and this movie is proof of that. Waiting to watch pt 2.
