Just throwing it here, is it possible when searching for anime, when one is completed or dropped, to be a little gray than the rest who are planned, for a little separation from the rest? Imagine it like the “hide anime in my collection” button in the explore section but with no button.

Well, this is only a thought, it could function as a bit of help when there are many series to a single anime. Thanks for the thought
An update, when looking for anime and it is already on your list, could that status be shown in the explore list?
The missing “+” button when hovering over it with the mouse should indicate that it is already in your list, but I’ll think about making this more visible whilst not diluting the current design.
You can also press the “eye” button top right to hide all the entries which are already in your list.
This suggestion is now implemented in a slightly different variant.
Search results that you have not added to your anime list are now displayed without color.
