Hikaru Zaizen

Hikaru went to Shitenhouji as a freshman. At that time, the tennis club was lacking new members; if there were no new members, the team could not continue to exist. The team tried to make Hikaru laugh in order to make him join the club, but they failed to do so. Despite that, Hikaru was willing to join the club after a brief practice match with Shiraishi, Kenya, and Kojiro.

He is known as the “Prodigy” in the team.

He was originally scheduled to play Doubles 1 with Oshitari Kenya in the semi finals against Seigaku. Right before the match started Coach Watanabe Osamu dragged Chitose back and replaced him forcing Oshitari Kenya to sit this match out. He is also seen to be disrespectful as he called Seigaku’s Kawamura Takashi extra baggage. He was also seen dissing his team mate Chitose after his loss to Seigaku in Doubles 1.
