Teruhiko Kumakashi
Teruhiko Kumakashi is a third-year student of the high school. He is a serious and sensible young man and somewhat of a contemplator. Teruhiko Kumakashi is also a member of the gardening club, as he enjoys growing plants and seems to care of them too much. Thus he may often be found near the greenhouses.
Teruhiko Kumakashi is the only son (and successor) of the Japanese bear family tree. His father died early, leaving his wife and elderly mother behind. In order to save the dying family tree, the two women suggest that Teruhiko has a child. However, surrogate mothers are quite expensive, that's why Teruhiko is forced to bear the child himself without even completing the high school. Nevertheless, Teruhiko is not delighted with this idea.
